We have this Hope as an anchor for the soul

During these uncertain times with the COVID-19 pandemic our priority is the safety of our patients and staff.  We remain open and actively seeing patients during our normal businessmen hours, but to do so we have implemented strict procedures and precautions to help limit the spread with in our facilities.  Please see our guidelines below and know that we here at NHT will take every precaution to protect you and your loved ones.

  •  We have purchased and placed over-sized air purifiers in each waiting room that will run continuously throughout the day.  We are wiping down all chairs, toys, door knobs and visible surfaces in the waiting room and treatment rooms every few hours to help minimize the spread of germs.  The waiting room may have a heavy smell of Lysol but you know it will be disinfected.
  • We are asking any patient or guardian/parent of a child to please remain in your car until the time of your appointment and the same for picking up.  Please refrain from  waiting in the lobby area during your loved ones appointment time.  This will be appreciated but we understand if you have any particular circumstances that will not allow for this to be an option.
  • We are asking all patients and family members to please allow us to take your temperature and sanitize your hands before the therapist takes you back.  If you have a temp over a 100.4 degree  we will kindly ask that you please reschedule your appointment.
  • We also understand that during these trying times, we have people with allergies that can make you seem ill, we ask that if this is you please take any allergy medication early enough to help minimize the effects.
  • We already have a policy in place to clean and disinfect all work areas, toys, etc, in which, a patient or child have been in contact with. This policy is being monitored by the owners and strictly enforced even more during this critical time. We have specific treatment areas for infants and immunosuppressant children with no shoes and very low traffic of children and treatment.
  • All New Hope employees are asked to wash their hands and sanitize before treatment of each patient and will also wash or sanitize the patients hands as well.
  • If you are feeling ill or have any concerns please stay home and let us know that you will not be attending therapy until you are feeling better.
  • We have all the proper PPE in house for our staff, if you would feel more comfortable with them wearing a mask during your appointment please ask them to do so and we would be happy to honor your request.  We do not mandate this during sessions due to the difficulty of communicating to our patients and in some cases it being overwhelming for them.

     Giving Back Hope

Our mission is to create a path of hope for children and adults by working closely with their therapy team, parents, teachers, and physicians to meet each patient’s individual needs. Our therapists treat patients of all ages ranging from birth to adult.
We look forward to meeting with you in the near future and if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us. We are excited to service the children of Hot Springs and surrounding communities to the best of our ability.
